A lot of people asked me about Thailand, here are my insights

Crime and Safety: Thailand is very strict about drugs. But you can always pay your way out if you get caught Only broke people go to jail here. Or if you piss off someone important, then yeah you’re fucked No pickpockets, gangs, petty low tier crimes. It’s completely safe to wear a nice watch, even at night, nobody is gonna do anything to you. Thai people don’t steal and they’re not violent Where to go: I live in Bangkok which is a huge city, 13 million people living here. So it’s way different than the rest of the country, more developed, you can literally find ANYTHING you want Most nice places (bars, restaurants, clubs) are located in a neighborhood called Thong Lor You can also visit: Phuket: Big city on the sea, lots of ballers go there for holidays Koh Samui: Relaxed vibe. Train Muay Thai, go to the beach, jet skis etc nightlife is not that good All the smaller islands (Koh Tao, Koh Chang, Koh Phangan etc): Not much to do beside chilling in some nice resort, ideally you go there in the weekend with a girl Khao Yai: Local ballers have second houses here. There’s a “fake Italy” called Toscana Valley and a national park Culture: Thai culture is very different from the West. People are very welcoming, smiling all the time and in general very nice. There’s this thing called “saving face”, it means protecting your reputation, dignity. Thai people avoid public embarrassment, confrontation, or saying “no” directly because causing someone to lose face is seen as disrespectful. For example, leaving a bad review online on a restaurant in Thailand can get you in jail (I’m dead serious, check the news) Never disrespect a Thai person, especially in public. Don’t make jokes that can be interpreted as disrespectful Also don’t criticize or joke about Thai culture or traditions, they are very nationalist I’m pointing this out because I saw many foreigners having to deal with consequences of being stupid You won’t have any issues unless you have 0 situational awareness Dating: It’s very easy to get girls in Thailand, but as a tourist you’ll only get the low level girls that fuck all the foreigners Usually you find them on Bumble or Tinder, you’ll recognize them because they have tanned brown skin, pictures at the beach, all the text in their profile is English We call them FARANG HUNTERS. Farang means foreigner Idk about you but I’d rather jerk off at home instead of fucking some ugly girl with STDs that sucked dick 1hr before 😹😹 Bangkok is the only place that has nice girls. Also Chiang Mai has pretty girls with white skin, but the city is small and boring af If you want the nice girls, you need to have a good setup. The nice girls here have very pale white skin, they have a South Korea look and many of them have Chinese ancestry In Asia white skin means you’re high status. Historically, lighter skin meant you didn’t work in the sun (like farmers), so it became associated with higher social class If you’re white you will need to work harder than the other Asians to get this type of girl. If you’re Asian you’ll do great. If you’re Black, South Asian, Arab you won’t get to date this type of girls So you need a good setup, you need to have your shit together but mostly understand the culture.
