SOP: Boosting Instagram Reels (No FB Ad Account)

This is obviously done at small scale, for big operations you either: 1. Buy an ads manager account (costs a lot and you need someone with experience to guide you through) 2. Hire a media buyer (but some don’t wanna work with OFM) ⁃ 1. Login Go to instagram.com on your web browser (either from PC or Safari on phone, on the IG app you'll pay a 30% Apple fee). 2. Select Reel to Boost Find the Reel you want to boost -> Click on the Reel to open it. 3. Boost Reel Click the “Boost” button (usually appears below the Reel). If you don’t see it, you need a professional/creator account. 4. Facebook Ad Account When it asks if you want to proceed with or without Facebook Ad Account, choose without (directly on IG). 5. Set Up Promotion Goal: More profile visits Audience: Create your own -> Choose country to target (only 1, don't boost multiple countries at once) -> Age 18-65 -> Males 6. Set your Budget & Duration I usually try $5 for 1 day and check analytics. If I'm satisfied with the results, I increase the budget. ⁃ Everything is very easy until this step. The issue is, you can pay for IG ads a few times, using normal VCCs The harsh truth is, if you're scaling with more than 5 accounts, they won't work. Those cards are not made for this purpose. You need a card that's made for ad spending.
